This research aims to discover the opinions of four schools regarding the final tashahud sitting position in prayers performed with one tasyahud, as well as to discover the arguments used by each school in determining their opinion on the problem. The type of research used is qualitative research using library research methods (literature review). The approach used is normative approach and supported by a comparative approach method. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively using deductive methods. The results of the research show that the Maliki and Shafii schools are of the opinion that the final tashahud sitting position in the prayer performed with one tashahud is the tawaruk position, while the Hanafi and Hambali schools are of the opinion that the sitting position used is the iftirash position. For the opinions and arguments put by several schools, it appears that the strongest opinion is the Hanafi and Hambali schools which state that the sitting position performed is iftirash. This research is important in understanding the views of the four schools regarding the final tashahud sitting position in the prayer performed with one tashahud and its impact on efforts to enlighten muslims regarding tolerance in responding to differences of opinion that occur among scholars, especially in matters of jurisprudence.
