This study aims to examine the parameters of Islamic psychology in the Prophetic tradition: “It is not of us who is not affectionate to the young and does not respect the elderly” (HR. Tirmidzi No. 1919). The moral crisis of Generation Z and parenting challenges in the digital era necessitate a robust model of intergenerational interaction. Using a library research method with a qualitative-descriptive approach and hadith analysis (takhrij, jarh wa ta’dil, and syarah), this study explores the psychological dimensions of rahmah (compassion) and tawqir (respect). Research results indicate that the expression “laisa minna” is a pedagogical instrument for reinforcing muslim moral identity. The dimension of rahmah functions as emotional nourishment in child development, while tawqir serves as a pillar of social stability and elderly mental health. Prophetic parenting, which integrates paternal and maternal values in a balanced manner, is proven effective in mitigating social pathologies such as juvenile delinquency. This study concludes that this hadith provides a holistic framework for Islamic developmental psychology that synergizes human physical, cognitive, and spiritual aspects.
