Lorong Recitation aims to strengthen the spiritual life of Lorong residents through teaching religious sciences such as teaching the Koran, strengthening faith and other jurisprudential sciences. This activity is carried out every week for approximately 9 months from February to November 2024. At the last meeting, this activity became even more lively with the provision of free health therapy by the Makassar Fohoway therapist team at the initiation of the missionary on duty. The results of the activity were successful in bringing in 20 participants and trying to follow up in the form of regular monthly recitations. The evaluation results showed that several weeks of activities did not take place due to participants being busy with other activities, coinciding with ELECTION week and unfavorable weather, including many moments of collective leave. The solution increases the motivation of the participants to be better able to manage their time in participating in these activities.
2025-06-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Rosmita Rosmita, Nasaruddin Nasaruddinhttps://journal.stiba.ac.id/index.php/wahatul/article/view/2051Pembinaan Keagamaan melalui Islamic Storytelling di Desa Sudirman, Kecamatan Tanralili, Kabupaten Maros2025-06-20T01:44:37+00:00Andi Dahmayantidahmayanti@stiba.ac.idArmida Abdurrahmanarmida@stiba.ac.idRisdayani Risdayanirisdayani@stiba.ac.id
The present Community Service Programme focuses on the implementation of Islamic Storytelling, conducted by STIBA Makassar's Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) VII students in Sudirman Village, Tanralili District, Maros Regency. The objective of the programme is twofold: firstly, to increase the understanding and knowledge of religious values in children through exemplary stories of prophets and companions; and secondly, to evaluate children's responses and participation in the religious learning process. However, through this Community Service Program (PKM), organic waste can be processed into useful resources through maggot cultivation (Black Soldier Fly). Using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method, this PKM aims to increase students' and Islamic boarding school managers' awareness of the potential of organic waste and provide education and technical guidance on organic waste management. The results of the activity showed that participants had increased awareness and understanding that the abundant organic waste in Islamic boarding schools can be managed effectively through maggot cultivation. In addition, participants also gained technical knowledge about maggot cultivation, both in theory and practice, which was reinforced by direct visits to maggot cultivation locations. Participants were also given practical materials to be applied in their respective places. The main contribution of this PKM is the creation of a more ecological and productive mindset in managing organic waste in Islamic boarding schools while opening up economic opportunities through the use of maggots as animal, fish, and bird feed.
2025-06-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Ariesman M., Hariadi Hariadi, La Jumadinhttps://journal.stiba.ac.id/index.php/wahatul/article/view/2143Upaya Peningkatan Literasi Keagamaan dan Sosial di Desa Lekopancing2025-06-20T01:44:57+00:00Jahada Mangkajahadamangka@stiba.ac.idMuh. Through this program, students are not only expected to apply theoretical and scientific concepts but are also trained to adapt, communicate, and collaborate with various segments of society. The primary aim is to enhance students' capacity for learning alongside communities, especially in remote and underdeveloped areas, by applying Islamic knowledge in an integrative manner, as implemented in Samangki Village, Simbang District, Maros Regency. The adopted model is Integrated Community Service, a method that combines academic learning with direct community empowerment practices. The results of the program showed a significant increase in community enthusiasm and participation in various activities, including leading congregational prayers (rawatib and tarawih), delivering religious talks and Ramadan sermons, teaching at children's Qur'anic schools (TKA/TPA), organizing workshops, giving Friday sermons, and conducting social initiatives such as distributing iftar meals and basic food packages, holding children's religious festivals, cupping therapy education, and running short-term Islamic boarding schools (pesantren kilat). All of these programs were successfully implemented and achieved a 100% success rate. The implication of this program is that integrative KKN has proven effective in strengthening the religious and social capacities of the community. Moving forward, program effectiveness can be enhanced through closer collaboration with village authorities, improved infrastructure access, and active support from community leaders.
2025-06-20T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2025 Khaerul Aqbar, Jamaluddin Jamaluddinhttps://journal.stiba.ac.id/index.php/wahatul/article/view/2086Integrasi Nilai Dakwah dan Pengabdian: Program Cukur Sunah KKN VIII STIBA Makassar di Desa Kurusumange2025-06-20T03:23:28+00:00Ahmad Syaripudinahmadsyaripudin@stiba.ac.id
The Community Service Program (KKN) of STIBA Makassar, Batch VIII, was conducted in Kurusumange Village, Tanralili Subdistrict, Maros Regency, as a form of student dedication to the development of Islamic education.
