The Role of LCD Media in Increasing the Learning Motivation of Female High School Students in Wadi Al-Qura

This study aims to explore the use of LCD Media in Increasing the Learning Motivation of Female High School Students in Wadi Al-Qura. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The data were collected through interviews with an Arabic language teacher and several students, supported by a questionnaire administered to the students.The findings indicate that the teacher uses the electronic medium (LCD) to present and explain the main points of the lesson through PDF materials, which helps clarify the content and facilitates students' understanding. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, particularly the limited availability of supporting devices, especially laptops.The findings also show that the electronic medium (LCD) plays an important role in supporting students' motivation to learn Arabic by attracting their attention, increasing their enthusiasm, facilitating their understanding of the lesson, and encouraging classroom participation. Nevertheless, this role varies among students according to their learning preferences and previous learning experiences. In addition, the effectiveness of the medium is influenced by the teacher's way of using it and the quality of the instructional content presented.The study concludes that the electronic medium (LCD) is an effective instructional tool for supporting Arabic language learning and increasing students' motivation to learn, provided that it is used appropriately and accompanied by improvements in instructional strategies and learning materials.
