REVENUE SOURCES

NUKHBATUL 'ULUM: Jurnal Bidang Kajian Islam is financially supported and managed by the Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (P3M), Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar, Indonesia.

The journal’s operational and publication activities are supported through:

  • institutional support,
  • organizational funding,
  • and Article Publication Charges (APC).

The journal does not charge any submission fees or peer review fees.

An Article Publication Charge (APC) is applied only to manuscripts that have successfully passed the peer review and editorial process and have been formally accepted for publication.

Revenue generated from publication fees is used solely to support journal management and publishing services, including:

  • editorial administration,
  • copyediting,
  • typesetting,
  • DOI registration,
  • website maintenance,
  • digital archiving,
  • indexing management,
  • and online publication services.

The journal does not rely on advertising, sponsorship-based editorial influence, or commercial reprint revenue in making editorial decisions.

Editorial decisions are made independently and solely based on:

  • academic merit,
  • originality,
  • scholarly contribution,
  • methodological quality,
  • and relevance to the journal’s scope.

The payment or waiver status of publication fees does not influence the peer review process, editorial evaluation, or manuscript acceptance decisions.

The journal is committed to maintaining transparency, editorial independence, and ethical publishing standards in all aspects of its publication management.
